Stepping aboard, the wide side decks give you a sense of stability and safety, walking easily from bow to stern. The full beam aft deck is large enough to entertain several friends and the flybridge will easily seat six people. The sundeck also has a sink and a fridge/freezer. The flybridge has a reclining seat for sun worshippers and a comfortable captain's helm seat.

You may enter the boat either from the companionway off the sundeck or the sliding door at the lower helm. The full teak interior, with teak-and-holly soles throughout, are beautiful. Very large windows allow wonderful light and visibility from the lower helm and salon.

The forward berth is off-set to port giving the guest suite a roomy feel and allowing storage for guests or space for your extended cruising needs. The guest (or day) head is starboard across from the U-shaped galley. The galley is well appointed with a propane stove and oven, under-the-counter fridge and loads of storage. The boat has four sinks: one in each head, one in the galley, and one on the sundeck. Though the fridge in the galley is small, the unit on the sundeck may act either as a fridge or freezer.

The salon is quite large for a boat of this size with room to port for a couple of folding chairs which may be drawn up to the adjustable salon table for a meal or a game of cards. The built-in L-settee is comfortable for dinner or lounging.

The master suite has a center queen berth with ample storage to either side and a large hanging locker. The ensuite head has a large separate shower.

A Bullfrog dinghy is attached via a SeaWise davit on the stern; easy to deploy and retrieve. Explore the bays, retrieve the crab pots for a feast or find a hiking trail on a remote island.

The beauty of this vessel is that she has been owned by only one owner; the owner has been meticulous about her maintenance and she has cruised to many remote anchorages. She is ready to take her new owners on many new adventures!

Cabin heating by Wallas diesel-fired forced air furnace.

Broker's Comments

The PowerBoat Guide reports that the Nova 36 Sundecks were one of the more popular sundeck boats imported during the 1980s - 90's. It is easy to understand that statement as you step aboard and feel her stability and appreciate the amenities she offers.
This Nova Sunquest has only had one owner. She has been apparently well maintained as evidenced by thorough maintenance logs.
She has been on extended cruises to remote anchorages throughout the Broughtons and further north. She is ready for new adventures!
