Approaching this IP-32 my first impression is one that stays with me. I am impressed with the maintenance and focus of the current owners’ upgrades. She is outfitted for offshore adventuring!
On deck, she has upgraded rigging, new genoa and halyard sheets and travellers, spare and new mainsails, genoas, and mast with tracking and roller furler. She is said to be able to be single-handed with relative ease as all running rigging runs to cockpit. Many custom upgrades include a custom swim step, a custom stainless steel arch which supports two solar panels, antennas and the Superwind generator. A Caribbean-style custom stainless steel bimini with cockpit cover and attaching sunshade protects you while at the helm or relaxing in the cockpit.
The teak has been maintained and its beauty shows. Decks appear to be in very good condition and are reported as sound.
Entering through the companionway, the interior is teak with a teak and holly sole. To starboard is the galley: a two-burner propane Hillerange stove and oven, Alder Barbour refrigerator and sink. A custom wood cutting board covers the stove to add prep space.
To port and aft is the quarter berth. There is additional access to the engine compartment as well as access under the companionway. Just forward of the quarter berth is the nav station with a built-in, folding table and bench seat.
Moving forward to port is the L-shaped settee, which converts to a double berth. The saloon table may either be folded away against the wall or drops down for a small workspace and may fold out so guests seated on the starboard settee may enjoy the table as well.
The starboard settee acts as another berth. There is ample storage behind, below and above each settee.
A monitor hangs on the forward port wall, next to the saloon table, to enjoy movies. To starboard are storage lockers.
Forward of the salon, to port, is the head with manual toilet, sink and shower. A separate door allows privacy for guests in the forward V-berth. The forward cabin has large storage areas under the custom mattress as well as access via drawers. A large hanging locker and shelving will allow you, or your guests, room to store items and enjoy a comfortable space.
The anchor locker is forward in the bow.
