The interior of the Hunter 45 is well laid out, allowing space to create meals, enjoy a good book, or plan the next day's route.
Beginning aft, the cabin I will refer to as the main cabin, is just off center to starboard and entered via the galley or aft head. It has a queen berth (new mattress 2020), and ample storage. The head to port may either be a private head for the main cabin or used as a day head for family and guests. It is equipped with a new electric toilet and extending sink faucet for bathing. Forward to starboard is the L-shaped galley. It is complete with Corian counter top, a large, deep side-by-side double sink, 5 cu. Ft freezer, a top load fridge, along with a newer Force 10 stove and oven. I am impressed with the amount of storage above and below the counter as well.
The main companionway is centerline. There are four access panels to the Yanmar engine allowing relatively easy access to all sides of the engine.
To port is the navigation station with electrical panel, electronics and a desk. The electronics are dated; however they are operational. The cockpit helm is equipped with updated Raymarine electronics.
Forward of the galley and nav station is the salon. Settees on either side of the salon with a large Samsung TV and Bose sound bar above the port settee. The current table is fairly small and square. There is an additional table (currently in storage) with a copper-top which expands to become a very large table for entertaining or projects.
The forward cabin lay out is very private. It has a full/queen berth to starboard. A desk with storage below and Samsung TV above is opposite the berth. Additional storage is along the wall to port. A sink is forward with locker storage both port and starboard. Separated by an additional door is the second head compartment with an electric head and separate shower. A hatch overhead allows ventilation and light.
Furthest forward is a storage compartment which is quite large and includes the anchor chain compartment.
Heads: Aft and forward are both electric (2020)
Hot water: Seaward, 6 gallons
Webasto Diesel hydronic heat; with separate 4 gallon fuel tank located in port cockpit locker.
Galley: Force 10 stove and oven installed 2018; propane system upgraded 2018.
LED lighting throughout.
Headroom throughout: 6'2" - 6'7".
3 burner propane Stove
