CHB Tricabin trawlers of any length or model are well known for their layouts and being conducive to entertaining and having overnight guests. This 47 is no exception!
There are three companionways to enter the boat: sliding doors port and starboard decks, and a door from the sundeck.
The salon is large with an L-shaped settee which converts to a double berth to port, space on the starboard for a chair and ottoman. Large windows allow light to flood the interior creating a sense of expansiveness.
The lower helm is forward to starboard with a buffet opposite; the icemaker and TV are underneath. Forward and down three steps, the galley is port with a dinette starboard. The galley is equipped with a Princess three burner electric stove and oven, Haier microwave, large stainless side-by-side sink, Vitrifrigo 9 cu ft upright refrigerator/freezer, very ample counter space and lots of storage space in cupboards and drawers. The dinette appears to fit four comfortably for a meal or game of cards. It converts to a single berth and has storage beneath the seats.
Moving forward is the VIP suite: bunks, small desk, large hanging locker and ensuite head with an extending sink wand for a shower is a nice private area for guests.
The washer/dryer unit is behind doors as you move aft of the salon toward the main suite. The main suite has a queen island berth, many drawers and a large hanging locker for storage, tremendous light and a private ensuite head with a large separate shower.
Cabin heat is provided by Espar diesel furnace and electric heat.
This is a very comfortable boat for a cruising couple or a family with a few kids. The sundeck and flybridge are also beautiful and comfortable areas for family and friends to gather.

CHB TriCabin 47 Trawlers are rare to the market and this is a good example of a well-maintained vessel with many extras.
Her interior and exterior show pride of ownership.
Attention has been focused on the engines (starboard rebuilt by current owner; port rebuilt by previous owner and has received extensive work), a new electrical panel, new inverter and boat rewired, several fiberglass issues which were found at the time of purchase have been repaired, diesel heater was replaced with an Espar system, front window on flybridge was replaced with glass and motorized wiper, new electronics on the flybridge, a Hide-A-Davit system and Apex dinghy with 20hp four stroke Tohatsu installed on the swim platform, front windows have been resealed.
The interior teak is in good condition; minor damage below the front windows from previous leaks are the only blemishes noted at time of inspection. The Fridgidaire washer and dryer are dated but conveniently located just outside the main suite.
The sundeck is a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or cocktails at anchor; the flybridge is completely enclosed with 360 visibility and seating for a crowd.
Crab and shrimp pots, Brutus 40 plus pot puller come with the boat.
She has been recently washed and polished and is located in a slip which may transfer to the new owners.
This boat is ready for late summer and fall adventures!
