Nicely finished and recently upgraded by the current owner, this boat would make a great home for a couple or individual in this fast-changing part of West London. Malthouse Wharf is set away from the main road on the River Brent and is a peaceful, little community of eight boats with an extremely affordable monthly rate compared to other mooring sites in the area.
Built in 2004 by Liverpool Boats, this 57x10 boat has a slightly unusual layout with the cabin in the middle of the boat but it means you have a separate galley and saloon so there is more living space than you would normally find on a boat of this size. The current owner replaced the kitchen, and as a furniture designer himself, you can tell it has been well thought through and put together. The good sized bathroom has a bath and shower compartment with flushing heads into a holding tank.
The saloon, like the rest of the boat, is nice and bright and has a multi fuel stove and there is central heating throughout. There are nice views from the bow down the river to the main tidal lock onto the Thames.
The pied-a-terre mooring allows for 365 day usage and you can receive post here. Current mooring fee is £550pcm (£6,600 per annum). There is a 2% transfer fee payable to the marina and transfer of the mooring is subject to approval by the management. On site there is a laundry and loos and showers for use of the residents. Each boat has its own shore power connection and water point. There's also a small communal BBQ area.
