Broker's Comments

The Shetland Cadet Weekender is a compact and versatile sports cruiser, well suited to inland waterways, estuary cruising, fishing, and weekend family boating. The Cadet Weekender offers practical accommodation and economical running costs in a trailerable package.
Offering a cuddy cabin providing two berths, the layout includes a convertible V-berth interior seating, basin and basic galley.
In the cockpit the helm position to starboard, co-pilot seating, and open aft cockpit seating.
Powered by a 2017 4 stroke 50HP Tohatsu outboard, this little cruiser can exceed 20 knots. Reliable and economical performance. In addition to the primary engine there is a backup “get me home” 3.5HP Tohatsu on a fitted engine mount at the stern.
This boat has been well cared for and benefits from a new overall cover and comes with the trailer. New wheels were fitted to the trailer 2 years ago and bearings were replaced a few years prior to that.
The Shetland Cadet Weekender is regarded as an ideal starter boat due to its manageable size, simple systems, low maintenance GRP construction, and ease of transport and storage. The shallow draft and stable hull design make the boat particularly suitable for river cruising, sheltered coastal waters, and recreational fishing.
This is a great little boat and well worth a viewing.
