Broker's Comments
These boat details are subject to contract.
"The Nicholson 32 was designed in 1962 by Peter and Charles Nicholson of Camper & Nicholsons, then one of Britain's most prestigious custom boat builders. The hulls were all moulded by Halmatic, and from 1966 onwards the boats were both moulded and completed by Halmatics. By modern standards Nicholson 32s are massively strong in build, and remain popular as economical go-anywhere cruisers. They have a very high reputation for seaworthiness, many having made long ocean passages". That information is from Nicholson 32 Archive on Yachtsnet where you will find representative photos of the Nic 32 marque and more information.
So, what do we have here? I believe our example to be a Mk X (ten) of this highly regarded ocean cruiser. In her day she was classed as a cruiser/racer and could still win some silver in club offshore events, especially when the going gets tough. But, it is as a 'bombproof' cruiser that these yachts really made their mark.
This particular vessel does need some varnishing and cosmetic tlc but will give her next owners joy for years to come.
