Often derided, Springers were one of THE most prolific builders of narrow boats in the 70's & 80's and if they were so bad how come so many are still cruising the waterways of England & the continent today? This must be one of the last ones built, having left the yard in 1991. Last docked 2015 for anodes & hull paint

Cruiser stern with Beta Marine engine under. There is a structure to rig a “bimini” type sun cover. Access to accommodation via central door to aft double cabin with single bunk beds. 1.9m x .9m which can be converted to a couch. Forward to WC starboard and shower to port then on to galley and dinette which converts to a generous 2m x 2.2m double bed. 1.85m headroom throughout. The original gas blown air heating is still in place but electric radiators are preferred by the present owners. There is a black water tank of 30 litres and a grey water tank also of 30 litres.

Narrow boat for sale in France. Boatshed Paris is pleased to offer this Springer narrow boat for sale. It has to be said that a lick of paint would improve the visual aspect no end but this old Springer would make a great “pied-à-terre” for Paris getaways or a no frills yet practical way of discovering the joys of the French waterways without breaking the bank.
