Broker's Comments
Built in 1908 as a reed cutter and later converted to a leisure barge this gorgeous Dutch Tjalk was imprisoned behind the Berlin wall during the cold war when the owner managed to escape to the West as the wall was being built. He returned when the wall came down, found her, and sailed her to France while living on her. The present owners have also lived on her for several years in France and now brought her to the U.K. but are finding little time to enjoy her so she will make someone a very contented and proud owner. Well kitted out she can make a great live aboard or holiday cruising boat.
The sought after mooring she is on may be available and is restricted to three nights stay per week , subject to the mooring operators approval.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
