Broker's Comments
My first impressions of this Sea Dog 30 ketch were just how sturdy and well equipped she is - she's also very easy on the eye!
Stepping on board and making one's way to the cockpit, I could see how safe and secure I'd feel during a blow - nice high bulkheads and a hard screen - I'd feel just as safe down below too - plenty of room, a conventional layout and all feeling very stout indeed.
Her forward accommodation feature acres of stowage - lockers have been crammed in everywhere - and lots of lounging/resting space, with great head room.
Her aft cabin has been modified so that the whole space is given over to one giant double berth - and very comfortable it feels too - her current owners have thoughtfully added an opening window too, for extra ventilation.
All in all, she feels like a very traditional sailor's yacht, that may take you long distances and help you through inclement weather, whilst retaining very useful and homely accommodation below - I really like her!
