Broker's Comments

The Rival 32 is a solid traditional cruiser, with long fin keel. The Rival 31, 32 and 34 are very similar, all being very well respected as seagoing cruisers.

This particular example was built in 1974 and launched in 1977 and been in the same family for about 18 years.

Many Rivals have made long ocean passages including the 32.

Her high and full bow makes her dry and the long fin keel and substantial skeg give her good manners under sail.

There is also an active Rival Owners Association.

The engine was updated in 1996, new standing rigging was installed in 2015 and the last insurance survey was carried out in 2012.

This is a Yacht that will be an ideal purchase for a family or crew who wish to sail in a safe and spacious design, some updating and TLC is required to bring back to her best, bust she is ready to sail for the remainder of the season.
