From a Maxum product brochure: "The 3700's Max-Trac hull, designed for enviable performance and smooth handling characteristics, has 15 degrees of deadrise. The Core-Max hand-laid fiberglass hull, utilizing Uni-Max rigid matrix construction eliminates unnecessary weight and creates high strength and rigidity with an optimum power-to-weight ratio. Rigid-rail construction strengthens the hull and deck at critical points. Thermal and acoustical insulation is also added. An exclusive gelcoat "Finish Guard" process, utilizing vinyl- ester resin, makes for an excellent finish and helps prevent future superior osmosis resistance to fight gelcoat blistering and cracking. "

Broker's Comments

The Maxum 3700 SCR is a large, roomy vessel with graceful contours, a spacious cockpit and excellent helm position with a full complement of ergonomic instruments and switches. The helm also features adjustable, double-wide seating, a Danforth compass, a VHF radio,12-volt, 110 v, and smartphone outlets. There's full instrumentation with a Garmin chart plotter, and radar.

Just behind the helm seats there's comfortable seating on the aft U-lounge that allows for uncrowded seating for a large group around a sizeable table. Full entertainment is right at hand with a large flat-screen TV, stereo, wet bar, and ice maker.

Below deck, the Maxum 3700 SCR has a spacious forward island queen bed and upholstered headboard. In the aft-berth, sleeping arrangements offer the option of twin berths or a queen berth. The salon features a large U-shape settee with Corian tabletop, plenty of cabinetry, built-in heating/air conditioning. The TV can be viewed from the salon or the master stateroom. The galley features Corian countertops, a two-burner electric stove, a Norcold refrigerator, mirrored door microwave, and hardwood flooring.

There's a roomy head with full size shower and glass enclosure, all in tip top condition.

This vessel represents huge value for the weekend warrior. There's plenty of room for friends and family to spread out, and she appears in really nice condition inside and out. When the Northwest weather isn't accommodating, the full enclosure is a great addition. And, it's a boat that should fit easily into a 40' slip.

There is a 3 year old survey that is available for reviewing, as well as maintenance records.

Please note that this vessel is now offered with a sharp price reduction due to port side engine issues. The engine is likely to need a re-build or replacement engine. The starboard engine has been found to perform fine by a certified mechanic and will allow the boat to accomplish a sea trial and out of water survey.
