Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to bring this 57ft Dutch Barge with residential mooring to market.

This two cabin barge has one of the most desirable residential moorings in the capital at picturesque Greenland Dock in Rotherhithe with views out across the basin from the light-filled wheelhouse. There is also potential for a smaller third cabin underneath the stern but is currently used as storage.

There is a decent sized galley and dining area with gas cooker and fridge. The two cabins are both large enough for double beds and lots of storage space. The bathroom is spectacular and recently finished in brushed aluminium. The loo is fed into a holding tank. There is diesel fired central heating throughout. This has been newly installed in April 2017.

This would make an ideal home for a couple or young family or even a pied-a-terre for someone looking for an affordable London bolt hole. It is realistically priced compared to various estate agents' listings currently out there and viewing is highly recommended as it won't be around for long.

Current mooring fees are £8,400 p.a. and a 10% transfer fee (of the sale price) would be payable to the marina to take on the residential license.
