About Gabriel Gomez

I started working with Boatshed Everett in September 2022.

My name is Gabriel Gomez. I am a father of two and married to my best friend and adventure partner. I am proud to say that I have lived in Washington my entire life. I am the oldest of three with a younger brother and sister. My family is my number one in my life. My childhood consisted mostly of family get-togethers, camping, and boating around the Puget Sound. That childhood is the reason I love boating and the outdoors as much as I do now.

What did you do before working with Boatshed?
My career background has been a combination of aerospace and law enforcement. Most recently I was in law enforcement for the last six years and prior to that I was in aerospace for five years. I am changing paths to boat brokerage now though, and looking forward to working with Boatshed Everett.

What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?
Boatshed has a platform that fits my style the best. I look forward to learning more about the company and being a part of the team. The fact that the people are all as genuine as they are and all share the same interest, really is why I wanted to be part of Boatshed.

Are you a motorboater or a sailor?
My wife and I have owned a few power boats but we have been considering trying out sailing some day in the future

What is your most memorable boating experience?
As far as my most memorable boating experience, it would have to be the time my wife and I were grocery shopping one Friday afternoon and randomly decided to take a weekend cruise. We went home, which was our boat at the time, unpacked our groceries, started the engines up and cruised to Kingston, Wa on a whim. We spent the weekend playing games, making homemade meals, going on morning and evening walks, trying out local coffee shops, and relaxing. Among all of that, we had a peaceful cruise on the way there and back. It will be one of my favourite trips in the books indeed.
